RGS-Xtreme – the all-in-one solution What does this mean for egaming, you might ask? Through our extensive research and development processes for US defence, we have developed solutions that fit specifically into the egaming arena, such as the RGS-Xtreme server for new operators. The RGS-Xtreme enables businesses to enter the highly competitive gaming market with scalable but egaming-specific hardware – as an operator grows the RGS-Xtreme can scale as well as offercompetitive advantages, in terms of speed and the user-experience of egaming software. Computrad identified the need for standardisation, simplification and reliability in egaming system integration – and so designed the RGS-Xtreme to fit into any remote gaming operator’s environment from start-up to enterprise. The RGS-Xtreme is built on an HP DL platform that has passed extensive military-grade testing. Designed in partnership with many vendors – including Microsoft, Citrix, Virtual Firewall and Vasco (incorporating its strong token authentication) – this complete solution unit is brought together in one easy-to-manage interface designed by Computrad. The RGS-Xtreme 3000 model supports up to 50 virtual servers, up to 30 web servers, up to eight database servers and up to 6TBs of storage. The RGS-Xtreme also includes 38 ethernet ports capable of 10/100/1000-port speeds.

Mobile phone gaming

Computrad, in partnership with a leading manufacturer, has developed solutions that will slot into any standard egaming server, and will result in offering optimised and accelerated connections to mobile phones without the client needing to install any software on their handsets. This advancement will represent a whole new era in the egaming world, as well as open the door for egaming operators to provide clients with 'on-the-go' content-rich, interactive gaming ability.
