Netherlands Antilles iGaming Jurisdiction
iGaming Jurisdictions - Netherlands Antilles
Cyberluck Casinos deal with licensing, and have the longest standing gaming licence in the industry, receiving it in 1999 under the old regulatory scheme. The islands of Curaco have a very large number of gaming entities hosting their respective websites, partly due to the very low licencing fees, and partly due to Cyberluck Curaco's policies and insistence on fair game play.
No residents of the Netherlands Antilles will be granted access to gambling sites, and all participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age, and all sites must maintain sufficient funds to pay all winning wagers on demand.
The jurisdiction of Netherlands Antilles grant licences for three types of online gaming venues, including virtual casinos, sports books, and poker rooms.
As only the most reputable gambling hosts participate under the country's banner, all licences from the department of justice last a period of two years. The DOJ will conduct an investigation of up to 6 weeks, where a 60,000ANG is required.
Gambling licenses are also available in the form of sub-licensing. This is the process of procuring a license from a pre-existing license holder. These types of licenses range from $2,000 to $4,000 USD. All license holders pay a fee of 10,000 ANG per month, and at the end of the two year period, a new license fee will be negotiated.
