 A typical scenario for example could be for a 500 user organisation wanting to roll out a new CRM or Financial application. The existing network is running quite well as it is but since the business is expanding management have already decided they need a new application to cope with the growth and so asks the IT manager to purchase the application of choice and to run this across the existing network infrastructure.
The IT Manager starts to trial the application across the network with a certain number of users or maybe in a lab environment with say 20-30 users.
